This is a way of seeing things, which should however not concern new subscribers (all with UHD boxes), and old ones (like me) who took out this subscription before, and who are offered new services for the same price (which is always nice). Even if the update has not yet been done (it’s a long time…)
This is the problem with all Internet products (computers, telephones, consoles, etc.) we demand more and more powerful devices, and we would like everything to continue to work with the old models. Unfortunately, this is far from always being possible or free. It’s the same problem with Netflix (paid) only offered to certain customers (i.e. UHD). I don’t have the slightest doubt that if it were that easy to offer it on old boxes, it would have been done a long time ago.
So personally I did it this weekend, through the customer area
and change from 1 free box to the 2 paying, but if you call the hotline they cannot offer it,
Otherwise on your tv box go to settings, then tv settings, then tv-box and there you should have an icon to replace your tv-box and an icon for an additional box click on replace.
Hi @HenriIV
Currently, the OCS GO application (IOS and Android) is not available outside France. Even the online subscription is limited to Metropolitan France.
I don’t think these will be made available anytime soon. Moreover, Swisscom has never communicated in this sense, it seems to me.
However, the best is to contact OCS directly (from the form on their site) to obtain the necessary information on this subject. Swisscom will not enter into the matter, they position themselves as a simple broadcaster of OCS programs.
Here is the (very quick!) response received from OCS support:
Unfortunately we cannot answer your question favorably.
For more information on the possibility of benefiting from our services on mobile media, we advise you to ask your operator your questions 🙂
We therefore hope that Swisscom will now be able to respond favorably, and just as quickly…
