I knew absolutely nothing about Netflix. ^^
When Swisscom announced OCS Go, a little “*” just to warn would have at least had the merit of being honest. Because honestly I subscribed to TC Premium mainly for OCS Go, if I would have known that it was reserved for UHD Boxes I probably would not have subscribed.
But hey, fortunately there is the free TC Sport offer, I’m taking advantage of it and if I don’t yet have a UHD Box by 2018 and the end of the free TC Sport offer I would stop TC Premium at that moment. But in any case I would know how to be wary in the future.
So, I think I’m dreaming but sometimes there isn’t an IOS/Android app planned? That I can at least enjoy OCS Go on my tablet?
I must be slow to react but I still haven’t understood if OCS go will also be available on normal boxes, but simply with a little delay compared to UHD boxes, or if it will not be available at all. ..
If it will not be available, I will request the cancellation of the premium package because the offer did not mention this condition at all, unlike the promotion for Netflix which had the merit of being clear and required possession of a box UHD.
I find it really unfortunate that Swisscom is forcing us to have to buy a UHD box without needing UHD, simply to be able to access apps like Netflix and OCS Go. The latter being part of the teleclub bouquet!!! Not only do you have to pay, but you also continue to pay a montant “rental” in the price since it is included for new customers. We, the elders, cannot benefit from it. You have to explain the logic to me….it should be a standard exchange with the old boxes.
In summary, I don’t need UHD, however I would like to access the OCS Go application by subscribing to teleclub => BUT, Swisscom does not provide the application on old boxes (thank you) and they give me force them to pay for two new boxes (119.– each). In addition, I continue to rent the 2nd….and the first because it is also implicitly rented in the price of the basic subscription…double THANK YOU, keep it up Swisscom.

Good morning,
I don’t think we want to force you to upgrade from hd to uhd which you don’t need.
There are two boxes, an old one that has become obsolete and a new one. Swisscom probably no longer wants to invest in the development of an outdated box and is focusing on the new one.
It’s a bit the same thing for the new mobiles that come out every year. They have new operating systems that are no longer available to older models. The customer must buy a new mobile if he wants to benefit from the latest technologies. This is the case in all areas of electronics.

This is a way of seeing things, which should however not concern new subscribers (all with UHD boxes), and old ones (like me) who took out this subscription before, and who are offered new services for the same price (which is always nice). Even if the update has not yet been done (it’s a long time…)
This is the problem with all Internet products (computers, telephones, consoles, etc.) we demand more and more powerful devices, and we would like everything to continue to work with the old models. Unfortunately, this is far from always being possible or free. It’s the same problem with Netflix (paid) only offered to certain customers (i.e. UHD). I don’t have the slightest doubt that if it were that easy to offer it on old boxes, it would have been done a long time ago.
So personally I did it this weekend, through the customer area
and change from 1 free box to the 2 paying, but if you call the hotline they cannot offer it,
Otherwise on your tv box go to settings, then tv settings, then tv-box and there you should have an icon to replace your tv-box and an icon for an additional box click on replace.
