MyCloud: Show file name

    • I have several videos in mycloud. The corresponding tiles are fully visible both on the desktop and on the TV.

    Problem: I can’t find the option anywhere to display the file names. Is there no way to switch the view from tile to list. If so, how do I find them?

      With the next update of the myCloud TV app there will be a new file view. The update will be available on the UHD box in the next few days; for the normal HD box it will take another month.

    You can find the file name of photos and videos in the image information. You open this as follows:

    • On myCloud.ch: Open the video and click on the (i) symbol below.
    • On TV: Open the video and click the up arrow on the TV remote.

      But that doesn’t help either. You can’t click on 20 or more videos first, then read the data and then find the right one at some point.

      Is there no other way?

        The photo area is intended for photos and self-recorded videos (e.g. from a smartphone). Since the file name there usually consists of the date, we don’t display it at the top level. We want to display as much of the content ourselves as possible.

        For films etc. I would recommend the file view, where you can see the file name immediately and you can organize the films into folders and subfolders.

        I think it’s great that you can now show music again when the picture show is running on the TV via the TV 2.0 box!

        N.B. Yesterday I was able to make a user overjoyed who had been trying to copy the photos from the iPhone to the iCloud and then view them on the Windows PC.

        I then set up the myCloud for him and so it was very easy to copy, and he also found the demo with the picture show on his TV via the TV 2.0 box a hit.

        It should be mentioned that the man was around 75-80 years old.
