Questions about the return function and data rates Swisscom TV 2.0

I have 2 technical questions regarding SCTV 2.0 with UHD box. I’m not a subscriber yet. Is it possible to jump back on live TV? So if, for example, I don’t understand a passage in a crime novel or want to see a goal again immediately, can I jump back? Or is this only possible in REplay and recordings? Until now I had satellite TV with a hard drive and then you could always jump back up to a maximum of 30 minutes.

And now something important since I have a large TV: What data rates does Swisscom use to broadcast in HD? Sunrise has 7 MB/s. How is it at Swisscom? That also needs to be compressed and converted here is clear because IPTV. Because I also value good image quality. IPTV is not considered a picture miracle because of the conversion and compression. But today things may look different. The technology and experience of compression etc. is now further advanced than it was 3 years ago.

What is the data rate for replay and recording? With SUnrise TV it is constant everywhere. Therefore no waste in replays or recordings or purchase offers.

I thank you for your tips.

With Swisscom TV 2.0 you can also jump back to a live broadcast, but I’m not sure whether you can do this in the first few minutes or whether the broadcast has to run for a certain amount of time.

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

You can jump back to Swisscom TV2.0 at any time, no matter how short/long you have watched the channel (subscription with replay provided). Also further back than you selected the current channel/station

With SAT receivers with hard drives you can only jump back as far as you started the corresponding channel/transmitter - afaik

Data rate for an SCTV2.0 HD stream is approx. 9Mbit/s - regardless of whether live or replay

Replay is possible immediately, especially needed again today in Formula 1.

What does big TV mean? 200 inches or what?:smileyhappy: Swisscom is in no way inferior to Sunrise here, flawless on all flat screen sizes.
