I would like to help you further. Unfortunately, since I have an iPhone, this doesn’t work.

Try it out!:smileyhappy:

This MUST work!

Hi Marcus,

I appreciate it. Thank you.

I’ve tried a lot in the last two days:smileywink:. Maybe you can help me after all. What did you enter in the “L2TP key” and “IPSec Identifier” fields on your iPhone?

Previously had no problems establishing a VPN connection with the IB+ and Android 5.0.1.

    Hello Uwe,

That’s just the dog is buried, I’m not asked for this information!

But I think someone else here will definitely have a good tip for you!

    Greeting

    Marcus

PS I would be very surprised if you can make phone calls if the VPN works!

    Hi Marcus,

Should I help you find the two entries:smileywink:? No, just kidding:smileyvery-happy:. Yes, it must be because of these, although I’ve already tried a few things.

And if it ever works, I’ll of course try making calls via VPN.

    LG Uwe

    @FlySmurf

If I leave the fields blank, a VPN connection will not be established either.

Are you connected to WiFi at home?
If so, deactivate WiFi and try using the mobile network.
    I don’t have ibv2 running at the moment and can’t test it…

    Hey Uwe

I’m happy if it works now! And thanks for trying out telephony via VPN!
Well, that will happen again, I think!
In any case, it’s nice that it’s working a bit!:smileytongue:

I haven’t managed to establish a VPN connection to the IB2 from a Win 10 Mobile Lumia Fon yet. If anyone has already done this, I would be grateful for any relevant information.
Unfortunately, the Swisscom instructions are only for Windows Desktop and are not so portable to Win10 Mobile

Yes, via WiFi too, but not on your own.

You want to create a VPN connection in a network where you are already in 😉

Now that you say it!!:smileyvery-happy: It makes sense!

But I didn’t know either! But I always automatically turned off the WiFi to test!

I’ve noticed the following with the R8.1 beta, my browser shuts down after about 3-4 hours (no connect) with a VPN connection in the background (SHREW SOFT VPN CLIENT) on a FB in D.

The IP can be reached via tracert, but with the browser (IE/Chrome) I get a timeout.

I have to restart my computer and then everything will be okay again.

I had no problems with this with the previous version.

An error…I discovered this with Swisscom TV2…

When the TV-Box starts, in front of the crime scene, this evening, the picture flies away…Flicker picture. This also after power-off and on.

Only the RESET with the paper clip and reload of the OS was it possible for the crime scene to run correctly without interruption.

This is an indication if someone is struggling with the same symptoms.

    a question came up:

Can someone please briefly explain to me what can be found in the updates for the various InternetBoxes?

Or what is the exact update procedure…

    - first package Flash for the OS (install firmware…here the application OS is also included in the IB2 as I assume?)

    - With the IB Plus, the OS Flash and the application are separate.

Firmware for the IB Plus. The application package also contains the firmware for the TV-Box?…the DECT package…

What is the correct procedure for a manual update?

Thank you very much for the explanations and greetings

With IB2 there is only one file for both functions.

With the IB+ and Standard there are two files, one for the firmware and one for the applications.

With the IB+ or Standard, the firmware must always be installed first and then the application after restarting.

    Occurrence!
