Great news, but unfortunately as a long-time customer I have to shell out 119.- for the new box. It would be great if existing customers could benefit from a “free” box.
But you have a lot of added value :-)
The media release states:
“The box can be ordered from all Swisscom sales points from April 14, 2016.”
What exactly does that mean?
Only in Swisscom shops or also hotline and internet?
The question arises especially for existing customers who have to pay 117.- (and do so because they want the new box). When you order a new Vivo or TV package, the new box will be automatically delivered starting tomorrow.
Just remember that if the availability check says HD TV capable, it doesn’t necessarily mean that UHD TV is also possible. According to the information, around 40Mbit/s must be available.
