good Morning
@all: thank you very much for your valuable answers.
@Dani: You have a 7390 D, if I read correctly?
Okay, so I order the D version (20002448)
As I said, I will only use the LAN and WLAN functions for now.
Simply plug the purple network cable from the VDSL filter into the FritzBox?
Does anyone here in the forum already have the 3370 running?
Apart from the inability to use WLAN 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz at the same time, I donāt see any disadvantages in the LAN and WLAN areas.
Kind regards, Empowered

So my FRITZ!Box_Fon_WLAN_7390 CH has been running with firmware 84.05.04-20267 since yesterday.
Iām satisfied so far. The interface is clearly designed and the installation went smoothly.
I am dissatisfied with the packaging. The FRITZ!Box has damage on the surface that is clearly due to the packaging. For this price, FRITZ!Box could have protected the 7390 with a case.
Thanks for the help here.
Kind regards, Empowered

@Master
Unfortunately, the cardboard holders are the problem.
It also has scratches in exactly the places that hold the Fritz!Box in the box.
A case like other manufacturers use would help here.
I bought it from a dealer who opened additional boxes and all of them had the problem to a greater or lesser extent.
@All
My Swisscom profile has been increased. The Swisscom technician told me that the line would be measured in the next few days.
My Fritz!Box reboots at least once a day. Can this be seen as the cause?

06.08.11 16:26:51 Internet connection was successfully established. IP address: XXX, DNS servers: XXX and XXX, gateway: XXX
06.08.11 16:26:47 DSL is available (DSL synchronization exists at 19848/1176 kbit/s).
06.08.11 16:26:32 DSL synchronization begins (training).
At exactly this time the Fritz!Bos completely shut down and rebooted.
Kind regards, Empowered
That seems rather suspicious to meā¦
When reconnecting, the following appears: āInternet connection has been successfully renewed. IP address: xxx, DNS server: xxx and xxx, gateway: xxxā
Wait a minute. If it continues like this for another week, then contact AVM support.
Greetings and have a nice weekend!
This week I bought a FRITZ!Box 7390 DE and got it running on my analogue Swisscom VDSL Anschluss (Annex A) with the latest official DE firmware 84.05.05. Swisscom TV also still works perfectly, I even have the feeling that switching channels in Swisscom TV works a bit faster than with the included Motorola VDSL router.
To run the German Fritz!Box 7390 on Annex A Anschluss, all you need is the ruKernelTool software. The āRead/Change Annexā function must be carried out via the āToolsā tab. There you then have the opportunity to change the Annex Anschluss from āBā to āAā. If you do this, the Fritz!Box 7390 DE works, as already mentioned, with the official DE firmware on an analog Swisscom VDSL Anschluss. However, it is important to point out that this setting is not officially offered by AVM and that this could potentially violate the deviceās warranty, so please approach this matter with caution.
Additional information 1: To execute the āRead/Change Annexā function in the ruKernelTool you need the Windows software āTelnet Clientā. You can install these later at any time via āControl Panel - Software - Add Windows Componentsā. This is also pointed out again in the ruKernelTool. You also have to activate the expert mode in the ruKernelTool.
Additional information 2: I connected the cable supplied with the Fritzbox directly to the telephone socket without a Swisscom splitter or filter; the purple Swisscom cable did not work for me.

But I have now found the solution, changing Annex A to Annex B after the update to 84.05.05 is logical, right!?!?!
Would be logical with VDSL. Whether analog or ISDN. But AVM somehow has a different understanding of Annex.
Do you have an ISDN Anschluss?
If so, it may be that the FW update automatically sets to Annex A.
I have a silent Infinity Anschluss, so VDSL and still on Annex A to connect.
I loaded the FW on Saturday. Without any problems, without having to adjust other settings or settings.

With VDSL you donāt need to enter VPI VCI right?
Yes, thatās what it takes.

SteveB:
I have an analog connection.
Iāve now experimented a bit with myself.
FB7390(CH) FW 84.05.05 Anschluss: DSL and Natel Pro.
In the FB web guide:
Whether Annex A or B, both work.
Annex read with ruKenrelTool shows Annex A. Even if the FB web guide is set to Annex B.
If ruKernelTool is set to Annex B, no connection is possible.
Set to Annex ā the FB connects again. When you read the annex again, the FB was set to Annex A.
The confusion is now complete.
The FB simply wants, at least with me, Annex A in order to be able to connect.
The FB also wants or requires values āāfor VPI / VCI.
Otherwise she wonāt. Which values āādonāt matter.
I have now entered VPI 0 and VCI 32. FB Connects.
So much for AVMās understanding of Swiss DSL
