Swisscom tv air

Good morning!

I’m trying to watch online tv on my mac. When I enter the swisscom tv air page, a page opens where it says that I have to install Silverlight to be able to do this. Then I unload it but nothing. Although I have downloaded the latest version of this program, I cannot enter the pages and watch the TV channels. I tried several times, even turning the PC off and on again, exiting and reopening the page, everything. But nothing.

What should I do?

Thanks for the reply.

Hi filippo.ciardo,

you need to download the program and restart your computer. By the way, do you use it on Mac or PC? With which browser? Safari? Explorer? Have you tried changing browser and using Firefox?

Have a good day Nico

Hi, I’ve had the exact same problem as you for some time and with two different Macs. Browsers (safari, firefox, chrome) fully updated, latest version of Silverlight installed.

Sometimes the TV-air starts, I buy a game and after 5-10 minutes nothing works anymore, so much so that I have already called customer service twice who have reimbursed me the costs. But it’s a shame, it would be a smart solution when you want to watch two different things at home, it used to work wonderfully but now…I don’t think the problem can be attributed exclusively to our computers anyway.

For the problem of renting matches with TV air, see here

“Due to technical problems, the purchase of sporting events on TV Air is subject to restrictions. The problem is being treated as a priority. We apologize for the inconvenience. In collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers we are looking for a solution. We do not yet know how much It will take time.”

Hi Erika,

Have you tried Firefox or Internet Explorer, because Chrome hasn’t worked for some time.

I saw that even in the French forum some people have this problem but they are few.

Since Nico works well, it seems strange to me that I haven’t found a solution. As soon as I find a Mac I’ll try.

let us know

bye bye

Good morning everyone,

We have noted the disruption announced on this topic. In fact, some Mac users who access Swisscom TV Online are partly encouraged to do a Silverlight update, even though this has already been done. Also, for some users, the TV Guide does not appear (white or blue screen). This situation can occur with Safari or Firefox browsers. We recommend affected users to carry out the following manipulations:

Uninstall Silverlight, delete cookies, history and clear the browser cache. Then reinstall Silverlight.

According to the situation, the error will be corrected as follows. To address this disruption, we are currently developing a new product that works without Silverlight. If all goes well, a beta test will be offered to the public this spring. However, we do not have more extensive information and it may be that the development will be delayed. As soon as possible, we will communicate more information to you.

Best regards

I have a Mac, and I only use Safari (today I updated the OS

so until yesterday I was using the latest version of El Capitan.

for this operating system with safari the swisscom tv tends to crash for various reasons, a solution I have adopted is to empty the history and the safari cache, in order to empty the safari cache you must first enable the developer mode which found in Safari preferences. In the advanced panel, once you have checked __show development menu in the menu bar, you will have to go to the Safari bar and click on development and select empty cache. Once this is done, swisscom tv ari should work again.

while if you have updated to sierra in recent days safari is unable to process the video due to an error, if you have this problem solve it by also going here in the safari bar click development (to enable it do as described above) enter the User Agent menu and select google chrome Mac, once the page has reloaded the swisscom TV will work as before.

I wasn’t able to watch the rented match, Ambri-Langnau and what’s more I then rented (out of curiosity) Lugano-Bern, so I had the same match with 2 rentals, I would like to be reimbursed for the expense!

Dear Claudio,

If you have had problems renting a match we will gladly refund you. You should also know that since you are a subscriber to Teleclub Sport, you no longer need to rent matches with TV air but can find them for free in your channel list.

We await your feedback and wish you a good evening.

Best regards
