Multiline ISDN/IP telephony already equivalent?

  • Has anyone switching to ISDN already gained experience with multiline IP telephony and SIP telephones and can tell me what restrictions still exist compared to ISDN? e.g. forwarding to a radio telephone.

Can I possibly switch without any loss of comfort?

With FAX there are also restrictions on the maximum transmission rate (9600 bps). But this limitation will always remain. You will never be able to replace ISDN 100%, but with All-IP there will be other new, interesting features.

What do you mean by forwarding to a mobile with an ongoing call, when busy or when the landline phone is not picked up in a certain amount of time.

Many functions are already available in Kundencenter.

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

Callback when busy has not yet reached the IP world. Landline to Go works to some extent.

It’s better to wait and see, there is still a lot of change and it doesn’t work as reliably as ISDN.
