Good morning,

I also had the same problem as you. I suspected my copper line had a short or fault. Instead of Swisscom finding the fault at its own expense, I preferred to opt for optical fiber, the socket of which was already installed in the apartment. Since then, apart from an interruption of a day and a half at the beginning of August, I have never had a connection problem.

Too bad you didn’t look for the problem, but I understand you.

On the other hand, it seems to me that my problem is more on the LAN side than the WAN. The internet box displays a status of “OKAY” but can no longer be connected from the Ethernet ports or from Wifi.

I’ve had fiber since Friday.

So I have a new router.

I took a better abonnement Swisscom.

Result: almost no wifi in my rooms and repeated disconnections.

Great!! Where is the technological improvement??

After calling Swisscom, it seems that they do not take responsibility for wifi problems, it is in the contract, and that their new router is less good.

Yay

The horror with this internet connection.

I am like you, continually confronted with a network outage for several weeks. this morning approximately every 10 minutes.

I’m on optical fiber with excellent performance (>200MB) when it works. but when to be sure that it works.

Unfortunately SWISSCOM does not seem to give importance to this subject, and to its customers: the answer tell us what is wrong we will be happy to come… have you seen them before?

another subject same problem: I have a problem with telephone access to my home 3 emails sent, but see them? without worry, no need for a concierge. no reaction.

Hi, I also have these internet and swisscom tv outages, the reason given by the hotline is that it comes from my wifi.

For them when there is a problem it is that you have to deactivate the antivirus and the wifi, these technicians are just little wankers and despite everything that swisscom supports me I am convinced that when we call them we get to the Morocco, you can’t go wrong with the accent of the people you talk to.

In September I found myself without internet and TV and it was only after three days that they admitted to me that the breakdown did not come from my network but from a line which was flooded, hello status obsolescence of these lines. There was a minimum of 600 customers without telephone, internet and TV, the traders must have been very happy.

at the next breakdown I hand the file over to a lawyer and they will see what an angry customer is, they have an obligation of result for the connection but all that matters to them is the payment of the invoices but for the rest They don’t give a damn.

After discussion with Swisscom, they sent me a new Internet box, configured with 05.01.14/05.01.20/738 as the software package.

So far, 24 hours of stability. On the other hand, this morning I received an SMS from Swisscom stating that the router needs to be updated.

I’m waiting to see, then, if the new internet box behaves well in 07.04.03/07.00.61/875

Normally, yes, the router updates itself.

However, I received instructions by SMS from Swisscom, but following their instructions nothing happened.
