Network crash on 2nd TV box
Good day
In our home the network always switches off as soon as the second TV box is started. That means I don’t even have a connection to the router (red X on the network sign + ping not possible). We sometimes have a WLAN failure (still connected to the router but no internet), this happens regardless of whether the TV box is started. After restarting the router it works again. I’ve called support many times and they’ve come over, but they’ve never had any effect. Since I’m a computer scientist myself, I notice that what these people are doing doesn’t help at all. (Good approaches but no success)
I connected the 2 TV boxes directly to the router. (Static IP’s)
1 cable leads to an unmanaged switch from there 5 different lines go to 5 computers (newer models) (DHCP IP’s).
To do this, the router goes via a device to the power line and is then picked up again in the kitchen and pulled onto a small computer. (Used for recipes (touch screen in the wall)) (DHCP IP)
We still have a Sonos sound system which has 3 boxes and 3 players. (Static IP)
Then we still have about 8 mobile devices in the network (cell phones (DHCP but different pool))
I paid attention to the IP assignment, there is no IP collision.
Hope for quick help.
