Unfortunately no. That doesn’t work.

This works with the “old” Rousseau’s; but only if you operate it on the associated base station and not pair it directly with the Internet box.

We recently switched from ISDN to All IP with Multiline (with 2 Locarno DECT handsets). Here, too, there is only one common call list, even though the two devices are programmed for different numbers. Tedious - and above all a clear step backwards compared to our old ISDN system.

Yes, that’s true. ISDN is nearing the end of its life cycle, but is fully mature. All IP is just beginning and still needs improvement in certain areas.

I have ISDN Multiline with Twixclip ISDN, which separates me cleanly and shows the calls and the number called. As a test, I installed Twixtel analog on the second computer. There I only see who called and not which number and when I accept the call, the analog Twixclip still reports a missed call.

Therefore, as a multiline user, it is unthinkable for me to switch as long as Swisscom cannot offer equivalent phones such as the Rubin 40 or Gigaset DX600.

With the My KMU Office subscriptions you get a router where you can connect ISDN telephones.

Even if you don’t want to accept the argument, it is true. The Internet box with Multiline cannot yet offer everything that is possible with ISDN. The emphasis here is on “still”, which is guaranteed to continue to improve.

The fact that the ring tone distinction doesn’t work for incoming calls is certainly annoying, but it’s not a showstopper for the basic service. The development capacity at Swisscom is not unlimited and so it is being expanded step by step.

Interesting statement… When I expressed my wish to Swisscom several times at the end of January to keep my 3 ISDN telephones (including 1 ruby) and 1 ISDN fax adapter with All IP, possibly with the use of an adaptation facility, the answer was “No”. There would be no customization option. I have to replace all devices. There is also nothing planned for the future in the range.

Now it’s too late for me. The new configuration is here and the ISDN devices have been disposed of!

I regret not having found any competent advice, despite the written delivery

- a clear definition of my needs (1:1 functional transfer of the ISDN features to All IP)

- a detailed plan of the rooms and the existing configuration

- a detailed list of the existing equipment.

The problem is who you turn to:

If you contact private customer advice, they have the knowledge of private customer products and (mainly) only know these products

If you had contacted business customer advice, they would probably have been offered the option of continuing to use the existing ISDN at Centro Business. It now also runs there via VoIP and it is questionable whether the well-known ISDN convenience functions have already been fully implemented there….

What probably went wrong is that you contacted the wrong private customer advisory service - or they could have at least forwarded you to the business customer advisory service with your requirements….

I said clearly to 3 shops and 3 times to the hotline: I would like to be in contact with someone who can competently advise on the problem of switching to Multiline ISDN-IP. And every time I didn’t get anything right. What more could I do as a customer? Is the customer’s responsibility to carry out the internal coordination of Swisscom?

It’s a shame, you should have simply asked an electrician/Swisscom partner.
