    Thank you for your contributions regarding restrictions on Swisscom TV 2.0. We would like to show you our efforts in this regard:

    Occasionally, customers report problems to us when using the remote control. Meanwhile we have identified the problem, it concerns the connection between the TV-Box and remote control. We are working hard on the solution. In the meantime, restarting TV-Box helps in many cases.

    UPDATE MAY 30

    We have identified the problem with the connection between the remote control and the box. The current tests with selected customers have been successful so far. We are therefore confident that the connection problem will be resolved by the end of June.
    If you experience the above-mentioned problem, please contact the support team. We would be happy to provide you with a preliminary version of the software.

    Where can I order the IR receivers that are being talked about in the forums?

    I need 3 pieces.

    It’s best to call the hotline 0800 800 800 and mention again that it’s for TV 2.0, otherwise you might get the wrong one.

    N.B. what kind of infrared remote control do you have instead of the Bluetooth remote control?

    I also have problems with the remote control, sometimes the LED flashes red and it doesn’t change the channel.

    There are a lot of tips on this point here in the forum that have already helped a lot of users (including influence from other BT transmitters, WLAN and other electronic devices). If none of these suggestions help, you can just wait until the correction comes from Swisscom or you can use the IR dongel, which is available from Swisscom, in combination with the Harmony FB.

    Hello everyone

    I’m getting a new remote control because everything hasn’t worked for me… For me it goes into standby mode, from which it wakes up when you press a button two or three times. We don’t notice this with the two other remote controls, but we need them much less.

    The iPhone remote control works via the WLAN network and not directly via Bluetooth like the TV 2.0 remote control.

    I also have problems with the remote control. The disorder occurs without motivation. Sometimes it works perfectly for two days, and other days it practically doesn’t work at all. The problem came suddenly. I have not installed any other devices that could be responsible for the problem.

    I hope a solution follows soon. It’s pretty annoying watching TV like that!

    But maybe someone in the neighborhood has put a disruptive device into operation. In some cases, wireless or Bluetooth devices that are not approved in Europe and/or Switzerland are used and can cause interference even over longer distances. After all, Swisscom has informed here in the forum that it is working on solving the problem. I doubt whether the FB will then be 100% immune to any interference fields.

    This is rather unlikely since there is Bluetooth pairing between TV-Box and the remote control. If there are interference from other Bluetooth devices, the remote control is usually interrupted, or it can only be used over a short distance, or there are connection problems (LED lights up red instead of white). You can try to re-register your remote control (long click on the WPS button or reset the box).

    Our remote control no longer works at all. Reboot according to Swisscom support helped last week, but now it no longer responds at all. Every time you press a button, the red light lights up.
    We also have the other well-known problems, such as “unmotivated” switching, sometimes it responds - sometimes it doesn’t. And EVERY DAY!
    I would be really grateful for a solution soon!

    Hello everyone

    I also had problems with one of three remote controls and tried everything described here, but it didn’t help.

    I then called the hotline, which then sent me a new remote control. It’s paired with the box and since then there hasn’t been a single problem until today (for about a week, problems before several times a day).

    The remote control doesn’t always work for us either.

    Restarting helps, but is annoying.

    and if you are already working on the remote control. why can’t you synchronize this with the TV anymore so that you only need one operation? I’ve had Swisscom TV since 2006 (!!) and this is the biggest step backwards since the product was created. an absolute MUST.

    I also have the problem with the remote control, but I found out that my Apple TV is to blame, i.e. when Apple TV is running and Bluetooth is active, then the remote control doesn’t work or I constantly have problems, when Apple TV is switched off or Bluetooth is deactivated, then It works perfectly, some of you may also have Apple TV or other active Bluetooth devices that are interfering.
