Hi Carina, Thanks for the reply. I did finally speak to a Swisscom technician and together we were able to trace the problem down to the SMPT configuration of the account on the iPhone. While in my iPad this configuration was done correctly and automatically (hence, I have always been able to initiate messages and reply to messages from that account), for some misterious reason this automatic configuration was not done on either my iPhone4 or iPhone5. At any rate, once the correct output SMTP was configured on my iPhone, I was able to send and reply on that account and device. Thanks!
