Hello fellow Swisscomers 🙂 it's my first time posting here but I didn't found anyone with the same problem as me so I'm posting myself to see if any kind soul out there can lend me a hand before I call an expert at Swisscom. Basically I am trying to rule myself out as a probable cause. So to the problem at hand, two days ago I applied for CAA, or Corporate Application Access, and had a nice chat with a cool dude and he activated it, gave me all the APN Data and after a router restart, using the Huawei CPE Pro 2 5G modem/router, everything seemed to work fine. Wished him a great day and went to do my business. After a couple of minutes I started experiencing some problems. Everything would work fine until for some reason I cannot connect to websites. But I can talk over VoIP and write messages using stuff like Facebook Messenger for instance. (Didn't try any others) For the last couple of days I have been moving my modem router around because it has an integrated signal strength measuring tool. And the place he is right now it has over 75-80 points in 5G and almost the same in 4G, not the best results but hey when it works I get speeds from 250-400Mbps and a somewhat stable ping 10ms - 20ms. The normal APN works FLAWLESSLY, so connection is not an issue. I have found a very annoying fix, but I can't even call it a fix because it all goes sideways after a couple of minutes. Whenever I make a change to the APN or switch APN's it seems to work and I can use the internet and the internet can see me and what not. But after couple of minutes again same problem. Cannot connect to websites. Can't see my server... Can't ping anything.. but I can VoIP and message. Then I proceeded to change the DNS from the corporate APN to the Google one's. And all of a sudden I can again enter websites but ONLY those owned by Google haha so it seems to me this might be a DNS server problem? I'm not sure but does anyone know anything about this problem? It's driving me a little bit nuts and anyways I will call on Monday but I thought I'd give it a shot in the community. Thanks guys.
