The iPhone XR is Apple’s latest entry-level smartphone, relatively speaking. As of today, it can be pre-ordered at prices starting from CHF 879 for the 64 GB model, CHF 949 for 128 GB and CHF 1,069 for 256 GB – without a new subscription or extending your contract.
With the new iPhone XR, Apple is aiming to further extend its target market, and the successor to the iPhone 8 series features a 6.1-inch “edge-to-edge” LCD screen, which Apple has rebranded “Liquid Retina”. Unlike its counterpart, the flagship iPhone XS, the iPhone XR does not feature an OLED screen, stainless steel body or 3D touch. This more affordable version does, however, offer “face ID”, as well as a 12-megapixel camera with lens and an aluminium body, available in the six colour variants of black, white, blue, coral (orange), yellow and “product red”. What’s your opinion?
Cool, I’ve been holding out for the cheaper version of the new iPhone.
I want optimum performance at all times and have therefore ordered the iPhone XS Max.
