Why are all my Swisscom TV recordings no longer automatically displayed?

Swisscom TV now only lists your recordings over the past 30 days. Older recordings need to be uploaded. The change has been made to improve the performance of the TV platform and your TV-Box.

 

Observant Swisscom TV users will have spotted the change: Since the end of last year, only the recordings of the past 30 days are shown in the individual recording categories with Entertainment OS3. You need to press the “display older recordings” button now to load older recordings.

 

We have made this change in response to the increasing popularity of the recording function. Just imagine all of our TV-Box users loading their recordings during the prime-time evening slot: many thousands of TV-Boxes, each potentially containing hundreds of recordings. That's a lot of data and a combined strain on the TV platform. To meet the demands of all our users all the time and to maintain the performance of the TV platform, you will now only see the recordings for the last 30 days when you first click on Recordings. These are the programmes the majority of users want to access. Just click again, however, to upload all your older recordings easily. Swisscom is always looking at ways to improve its service in this area.
