Do you enjoy holidaying abroad but don’t want to miss out on Swisscom TV? If you follow our advice, you won’t have to do without Swisscom TV while travelling abroad.

With Swisscom TV Air you can take your home viewing with you. However, once abroad, a couple of restrictions do apply. For legal reasons, you cannot view Live TV, Teleclub Play, live sporting events or Teleclub on Demand. It doesn't mean though that you have to do entirely without Swisscom TV abroad.

With a Swisscom TV M/L or TV Air Mobile subscription, you can record programmes even several days after airing and then watch them abroad. Replay also works, but only for programmes that have already been aired (approx. 10 minutes after airing).

Connect to the WLAN

Make sure you connect to a WLAN when you use Swisscom TV Air abroad to avoid expensive data roaming costs. You will enjoy optimum picture and sound if the internet connection has a download speed of at least 0.5 Mbit/s.

View content offline

You can download your recordings and bought content with the TV Air app and then watch it without Internet access. Again, when downloading make sure that you are connected to a WLAN.

We wish you happy holidays and lots of fun viewing with these tips.
