Swisscom TV Box freezing

Hello,

I have an issue with all of my swisscom TV boxes

On all TV boxes the picture freezes after a few minutes. Switch to another channel, then back, and it works again. When doing nothing it will stay frozen with no sound. I have seen this issue has been reported by more users. I have tried all provided suggestions but the issue still remains. 

The boxes are connected by ethernet cable to Internet Box-2

Any other solution?

Are the boxes connected to the swisscom router directly? (no switches)

I have the issue with 2 boxes. The TV Boxes are connected to a switch. The Swisscom router is located in the basement.

what kind of switch is it?

it is capable of multicast?

The switches are TP Link 8 port Gigabit desktop switch

yes, but the question is: can they do multicast IGMP?

Try to connect the Box directly to the swisscom router. If it works --> it's the switch

I have connected the TV Box direct to the Swisscom router without any switch but unfortunately it doesn't resolve the problem. Picture did freeze again after approx 20 mintess.

In this case it could be the line. Can you call Swisscom an let them check your line?

I have done this already 3 months ago, They replaced the router but it didn't help.
