What about loyalty offers?

What about loyalty offers?

Treueangebote.jpgAlthough Swisscom has separated the purchase of mobile phones from mobile phone subscriptions, your loyalty is still rewarded: you can buy selected smartphones at a discount price and pay for devices in instalments. What’s more, now you don’t have to wait 24 months to change your mobile phone. You can take advantage of discounts on mobile phones after just 6 months.

Your mobile subscription and your smartphone purchase are now arranged separately. The subscription will cost the same whether or not you also purchase a mobile phone. However, your loyalty is still rewarded: when you extend your contract, there is often the chance to take advantage of discounted mobile phones and pay by instalments.

Old principle, more freedom

The process itself has not changed: as a Swisscom customer with your eye on a new mobile phone, you can check whether you are eligible for the promotion in the Customer Center (how it works). You can see which smartphones are available at a discount directly in the Online Shop – shown in purple. Of course, you can purchase a new device at the regular price at any time. This gives you more freedom than before as your mobile contract is only extended when you purchase your mobile phone as part of a promotion or pay for it in instalments.

Enjoy new benefits after 6 months

You no longer have to wait 24 months before you are eligible for a discounted mobile phone again, as with previous loyalty offers. Now you can buy a new mobile phone as part of a promotion just 6 months after purchasing your previous mobile phone. Even if you extended your mobile contract by 12 or 24 months at your last purchase, this term is only relevant if you wish to terminate the contract. The same applies for mobile phones you are paying off in instalments, although customers are only eligible for one active instalment agreement at a time. If you buy a new mobile phone and opt to pay in instalments again, you will be charged the balance for your first mobile phone in one lump sum.
