Someone managed to open the doors of the Play 4 with the new Swisscom fiber optic router

I inserted all the ports manually but nothing gives me narrow nat

Which router? New latest generation internet box type modem? Are you connected with wifi or ethernet cable?

I have an internet box but without optical fiber….I usually set the ports manually without activating DMZ and set a static IP.

I think things change for those who have fiber optics, I don’t know..

With the new swisscom fiber optic router there is no way to open them or have nat 1, then it loses the connection with the iPad and throws me out of the game there too

I solved it and the router is worth nothing and apparently needs to be changed and another type of router can be supplied. I’m waiting for news.

I’m surprised that swisscom is giving out a router like this, knowing full well the problem with gaming consoles, they really save on the router with the money they have

Already done but since it’s a new technology they aren’t very knowledgeable, they can’t even tell me if I change the Swiss TV router and then it’s compatible.

It’s the same model I use and it works great on my Ps4. But note that I don’t have optical fiber and I travel 40 MB and 8 uploads. So it could be fiber optic even if it seems absurd to me hopefully….

EDIT: I confirm it is a common problem for DMZ and ports have not had effect only exclusively internet boxes…..and swisscom still doesn’t know how to solve the problem.

Listen you can’t have a router like mine because this model swisscom gives it to those who have fiber you have the center as big as a router and it was fine with me too you could open the network and gaming doors with this NO…

I’ve already had this problem with Ticinocom but they also had branded routers at a good price since the free one wasn’t compatible with Play. I repeat the problem and the router which is worthless. A friend of mine who is a shop manager told me that perhaps there is another model available from swisscom for 2 weeks I’m waiting for confirmation…

I’m sorry, you’re wrong, I have an internet box that’s not a big one.

Here’s a screenshoot photo so you’ll know I’m not telling lies lol

I wanted to change it to improve performance and wireless management for relatives controls (children that is) I only spent Fr 99 if I remember correctly. I simply changed abandonment from old to new VIVO M. It’s true that some still use the large center, but for those who want to change modem you can easily order 99 fr + for this reason.

The router will be the same so it shouldn’t change because of the fiber I’m really curious to know if it gives you open nat and how did you do it if you did something XD

it’s the same trust me xD anyway it’s simple I opened the doors manually following the instructions on sony and ghost it tells me nat open.

If you go check the connection status on ps4 and see if your nat is written 3 or 2

For me it comes out as 2 which means it’s positive and works perfectly.

If you have any other questions contact me PSN Super2030 😉
