Hello

Have you ever reset the Internet Box 2?

In this case I would call the hotline, it could also be on the line. Don’t think it’s the router because this was obviously similar with the centro Grande.

My question is that the router loses the connection and then the router flashes red and then you have to restart it again and then it works again?

Hello

No, I didn’t do a reset because then I would lose all the settings.

The router does not flash red, but instead lights up permanently red.

So, yesterday evening I manually reinstalled the firmware and did a reset.

This morning the same game, LED lights up red permanently, after a restart everything works again.

@Brassli

Can you still get to the Internet-Box 2 menu when it flashes red? If so, what is displayed under Internet connection?

In any case, as mentioned, it’s best to contact support.

I haven’t tried that yet, the HomeApp always freezes and can’t be used. I’ll try to see if I can get into the menu… probably when I get home today

@Brassli

You have to access the menu directly via a PC by entering 192.168.1.1 in the Internet browser, name: Admin and the password can be found in Kundencenter with a working Internet connection, so write it down beforehand if you don’t know it.

I’ll give you an interim status:

I went to the menu in each case, strangely enough, it showed that the Internet connection and WiFi were there, but VOIP was not connected… but the Internet and WiFi definitely didn’t work.

However, since last Friday the whole thing has been over, things went as they came… not really reassuring, but I’m enjoying it while it lasts…

Hello, I am having the same problem. How did you fix it?

Hello

I’m currently having the same problem. For some time now, all of my devices connected via the LAN have been losing their internet connection in the evening (between 8 and 9 p.m.). In the admin area it no longer shows me the devices in the connections. However, WiFi still works. The LAN devices no longer have an IP and they usually cannot obtain a new one. The quickest solution is to reboot the box.

This is very annoying because I usually watch Netflix at this time and notice the problem every evening.

Does anyone have a clear solution to the problem?

@Maggio

What firmware is available with the IB standard?

N.B. This thread is about the Internet-Box 2!

@Maggio What problem are you having? The firmware has been widely tested and there were no problems that would have prevented a rollout. Installing an old firmware won’t help, as it will automatically be replaced with the new one in the next few days.

Good morning Michi, the SIP devices (local IP telephony) log off several times a day. Conversations will then only be heard on one side………

I only had the problem with all customers after the new firmware.
