I'm looking for a way to enter the shell of my Internet Box via SSH. To address any questions along the lines of: "Why do you want to do that?" - It's because I'd like to add features such as QoS, as well as modify some settings which you cannot do from the GUI. Mainly just my own reasons.
I've heard that a couple of models back you could still access the shell via telnet. Why was that feature removed?
Moreover, if it's not possible to access the shell via SSH, how does customer support access the internals of the device during a call?
If anyone can answer these questions, I'll be very thankful.
