HD channels

Just swapped from UPC to Swisscom. Disappointed to see that the English channels BBC and ITV are not in HD! Is that correct? Also, the sound seems to be really quiet, I used to have the TV on number 15 ish, now with Swisscom it’s up around 50!! Is there an issue?

I know it's little bit late for my answer. The BBC channels are in HD, whilst ITV 2-4 are not. But as far as I know there is no supplier in Switzerland (not UPC, not Quickline, not Netplus, not Ticino, and so on) which has the mentioned ITV channels in HD! But there are more English channels (even if they are in SD) at Swisscom than all the other suppliers have. It looks that there will be even more in the next days (Pick, Challenge, CiTV, Yesterday....). Cheers
