Harmony Logi HUB and new Swisscom BOX IP2000 (voice control)

  • Dear community

    I have a new setup:

    • new Swisscom Box UHD IP 2000 with (voice control) and ONLY the Logitech Hub

I have now installed the IR dongle on the new Swisscom TV Box IP 2000 and also the IR dongle for the TV on the Logitech Hub but it doesn’t work.

How can I add the Swisscom TV Box IP2000 in the Hamony APP so that it works? Somehow it doesn’t work when I enter the 2.0 IP 1200 (old box).
How exactly do the dongles have to be positioned in the TV cabinet?
I made it so that the IR dongle of the Swisscom TV box sees the Harmony Hub and that the IR dongle of the Harmony sees the Samsung TV. That would be logical, right?

    Hi Urs,

    Yes is:
    1. an original Swisscom IR dongle and

    2. an original Harmony Hub IR dongle

Under what setup do I have to set up the new IP2000 box?
He cannot find the serial number of the Swisscom TV Box If you want to set up the device under mode number IP2000.

    Many thanks

Yes, but the USB dongle apparently needs an initial kick-off. Plugging in the dongle in standby and then starting the box with it doesn’t work.

@hirsch In my case, the two end parts of the dongles are right next to each other in the closet, less than 2cm apart.

I kicked off the IR dongle at Swisscom Box. I also see the dongle in the system control of the swisscom box, but thanks for thinking along ;o))

The scene (movie) was created in the harmony hub app.
When I start this scene via my cell phone it sometimes works, but when I start this scene via home control (smart home) it doesn’t work.

Add IP-1400, the remote controls appears to be the same

No! See above at 4 / 5 / 6! Only by entering Swisscom TV 2.0 can you clearly define that the Swisscom boxes are being controlled (including with the correct timing).

If you enter IP-“something”, you are defining a generic set-top box. Some commands to the Swisscom boxes can sometimes work…

The Harmony Hub sends the infrared commands to the Swisscom Tv Box and to the TV. You can optionally use the Harmony Hub IR dongle as an additional IR transmitter if the line of sight from the Harmony Hub to the TV (and/or the TV box dongle) is poor (cabinet doors, etc.).

The Swisscom Tv Box’s IR dongle can receive the commands from the Harmony Hub or the Harmony Hub IR dongle.
