Wie das funktioniert ist hier erklärt: How to set up a static IP address on your Xbox 360 (extern, Englisch)
Kabel/WLAN?

danke es hat funktioniert :smileyhappy:
We are also having a problem connecting to the internet via our xbox live account. The connect worked for a period of time, but now will simply not connect. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have copied the results from running the "Test xbox LIVE connection" below.

Can anyone shed any light on what may be causing the problem: please. 😞
We are using an Zyexl Modem and separate wireless unit. Both have worked fine at the start, but just all of a sudden stopped working, and refuse to respond to any of the hints and tips on the xbox website.
Funktionieren andere Geräte im selben Netz? Was für ein Modem (oder ists ein Router?) und was für einen Accesspoint hast du genau (Modellbezeichnung)? Wie ist das ganze zusammengeschaltet?
PS: Achja, wieso in Englisch?
Yes all my PCs, printers, and internet radio and TV all work on the same network. The router/modem is a Zyxel Prestige 600, the access point is a Zyxel ZYair. Why in English? Because I am English,
Well then let's do it in English.
Did you configure the Xbox on IP address 10.10.1.5 by purpose? This is a highly unusual setting, I would not recommend to run a home network (in fact, not any IPv4 network at all) on a /8 range.
Anyway, as far as I can see from your output, you are connecting by WLAN. Try to attach the Xbox to the router with an Ethernet cable and check whether the problem persists. If it goes away, check whether the settings of your access point and those of the Xbox match. Re-joining the Xbox to the WLAN might fix the problem.
If this does not help, you should provide us with some more details on your network, ie. IP addresses of your router and access point, WLAN settings (except the key) and the exact model numbers of your devices.
Ok, there is no change whether via wireless or direct connection. I have tried all the steps recommended by Microsoft's Xbox support too.
The router is set to: 10.10.1.1 it works as a DHCP, though some appliances are on static IP addresses.
Even when I was running the whole network as a static system the XBOX didn't work except right at the very start when it was first installed on the network. After around a month it stopped working, and hasn't worked since. I have tried so many different configurations, I'm now at a loss as to what else I can try, so please do give me some ideas. 🙂

By the way, the IP address of the access point is 10.10.1.9. Model numbers and names are in the message above.
No, they are not. Prestige and ZyAIR are trademarks for dozens of products made by Zyxel. "Prestige 600" is the name of a router family made by Zyxel. You will find the model number on the back of the devices.
However, this almost certainly has nothing to do with your Swisscom internet connection. Apart from that it all looks like your gear's config is pretty far away from the default configuration. Try resetting everything to factory defaults and start from scratch. And avoid that 10.0.0.0/8 network by all means this time. Or avoid that Zyxel junk at all.
