Prevent bypass of DNS on Swisscom router

Level 1
1 of 3

I want to force my child to use OpenDNS DNS servers.  He's smart enough that he finds ways around that so I want to block that.

Rather than put another router running OpenWRT into my network, I'd like to use the Swisscom one I have.  You won't let me telnet or ssh to the box to do it in IPTABLES so how else can I do it?

Thanks 🙂

Hello @LeeM

As far as I know, you can change DNS settings in the router interface of your Internet-Box http://internetbox or

Choose the "Expert" mode, at the top left of the main menu and then "Network", "Settings", DNS server.

Maybe @MichelB or @suisse can help further?
