Error "cannot send mail"

Suddenly all our iPhones and iPad can no longer send email from our bluewin account to anyone else than bluewin addresses.  We get the error:  "Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient address "aa.bb@cc.com" was rejected by the server."

It works well if I send to myself or to another bluewin account, but not to addresses in other domains like gmail or hotmail.

It work without problems from the web interface on a computer to those addresses. Only not from the iPhone or iPad.

 

The problem appeared today. Was working all right last week.

Any ideas, please?

Could you please elaborate on the settings bit?

I am having the same problem - but confined to my iPhone.

you need to ask Matthias, I don't know what he changed.
