TV Box not connecting to WLAN

Hi all,

I am unable to connect my TV Box to my WLAN via a WLAN Box (it was previously connected by Ethernet to the same box). I have remodelled the room and the TV Box is no longer next to the WLAN box. Do I still have to press the "+" button on my internet box to do so? The instructions aren't exactly clear on this. The TV Box and WLAN Box are still in the same room and the signal strength is pretty good.

Ja, eine WLAN-Koppelung per WPS muss immer über die +Taste erfolgen.

Hast du denn bei der TV-Box die WLAN-Verbindung eingeleitet? Stand dort die Aufgorderung, man solle die +Taste drücken?

Wichtig!
Die WLAN-Box muss per LAN-Kabel mit der Internetbox verbunden sein, sonst funktioniert es nicht.

(Eine der beiden Verbindungen von der WLAN-Box muss mit Kabel sein. Entweder Internetbox zur Wlan Box oder Wlan-Box zur TV-Box. Wlan Box nur als Repeater/Verstärker ohne LAN-Verbindung funktioniert nicht)

Yes, I initiated the WLAN connection on the TV box, then pressed the "+" button within the 120s.

For connecting to a WLAN box, there is no prompt to press the "+" button, it just says it cannot detect any WLAN.

The WLAN box is connected via LAN cable to the internet box (via a patch panel) and always has been. It seems the TV box is not picking up any WLAN.

ist die LED der WLAN-Box weiss ?
können sich andere Geräte mit der WLAN-Box verbinden ? (per 5 Ghz)
kannst du testhalber die TV-Box mal per WLAN direkt in der Nähe mit der Internetbox versuchen zu koppeln ?
du hast nicht zufällig in der Internetbox das 5Ghz WLAN deaktiviert ? (Setting gilt auch für die WLAN-Box) Weil die TV-Box kann sich nur per 5Ghz koppeln

Other devices are connected to the WLAN Box via 5 GHz

TV Box will not connect to the Internet Box either

I haven't knowingly disabled 5 GHz, and the WLAN Box 5 GHz is not disabled.

PaddyG kleiner Trick wenn das System schluckauf hat. Text den man geschrieben hat kopieren zur Sicherheit. Webseite nochmals reloden (F5), dann sollte alles klappen.
