combox tells me that its number is not valid

I have a US cell and a Swiss landline. I have 2 problems:

1. I cannot set up my combox - when I call it, it tells me I have the wrong number

2. When I use my US cell to call a Swiss phone and an answering machine picks up, my call fails and I cannot leave a message.

Perhaps the two issues are connected?

iPhone 12 mini using T-mobile and Swisscom landline.

Thank you for any ideas to get me on the path to solving this.

You an setup a SIP client app on your phone to access the Swisscom landline. That would solve the Combox issue. You can also use the same SIP app and your landline to call the Swiss phone numbers.

Somehow the Combox prefix was entered twice before my telephone # so of course it was a wrong number.
