I live in South Africa. I have a prepaid Swisscom simcard for the last 5 years. I use it only to receive OTP's by sms from my bank in Europe.
Lately I have a real problem to receive my sms messages. I don't get them anymore and sometimes get them too late.
Will a COMBOX slove my problem?
I have no need for voice messages at all. All I need is to be able to read my sms messages send by my bank.
If a COMBOX will work for me, what do I need to do?
I obviously have an account here and I have set it up so that my login does not require 2-step authentication because I don't get the sms for that.
If the COMBOX will work for me, I assume I can access it from this account (?)
What do I then need to do in the setup for my needs??
Is it then a requirement that my phone with the Swisscom simcard is switched off? Or does it not make a difference?
I go skiing in Switzerland once a year. It would be nice to use the phone normally then, if possible. What do I need to do then?
