Internet Router 3 - https://internetbox.swisscom.ch/ ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Hello,

I have trouble to connect to my router admin page to configure anything.

It has been days now and everytime I try to connect, from any device on my LAN, I always get the error:

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

The router is configured on a non standard IP address, but I changed that years ago and I was always able to connect.

I tried to reboot the router from the swisscom portal and that was successful.

I unplugged the power from the router for 5 minutes and restarted and still not accessible.

Does anyone have any solution?

The portal doesn't provide any type of help about this issue.

try with 192.168.1.1

or My Swisscom > Your products > Internet > Your Router > some functions are available

Thank you for the reply, but as explained I have changed the internal LAN IP address to a not standard class.

I have reset the router, so it is now accessible on ip 192.168.1.1

But there are still some kinks to work out.

contact the Swisscom Hotline to perform a remote check of the router and the connection line

As it works now I have tested with a different IP in any of the Private IP range of the Classes.

The router suggest to keep 192.168.1.x

Probably ok for normal home solution, not if you want to 'play' with your network.
