It is a pity but Internet-Box 4 doesnt have this functionality due to security reasons. At least, that is what I have been told after one device exchange, some phone calls with support hotline (1st and 2nd level).
It doesnt indicate anywhere that Internet-Box 4 has network storage in the technical data unlike previous devices.
However, Internet-Box 4 still indicates that you can but actually you cannot. And obviously no option available in applications to switch external storage on. There is still a USB port but no device is recognized, so not sure what is the use of it.
Tried port-forwarding but I keep getting the error "t__he selected IP address is used by the Application part of the Internet-Box. No rules can be assigned to the application part. Please select another device." Maybe I do something wrong there. Is there any way to activate the SMB sharing somehow?
So, any help would be appreciated! Or is buying a NAS device the only way? Thanks.
