Suspending a subscription - how long?
I have had my Swisscom subscription for some 20 years. Now I would like to try out another provider by using the "Suspend subscription". It says that I can only have a trial period of 12 months. On the same page it is written "Outside of the minimum contract term, you can suspend your subscription several times." It seem that I have to pay CHF 25 as a suspension fee, which seem a bit high.
Question: Can I suspend my subscription for 12 months and then immediately extend the trial period with the other provider another 12 months before going back to Swisscom? How do I do that? By "Suspend subscription"?
Or is it better to engage the service "Switching provider. Contact us before signing a contract with a new provider. We will take care of cancelling your existing services and ensure that you will not incur unexpected charges, expenses or delays. Please inform us if you wish to port your existing phone number to your new provider." Then I can see which provider suits me the most.
