Hello all, I hope you don't mind I ask my question in English, since I am still learning German. I have a website/domain, which allows for an email service which you can run via an external host/provider. To do so, it asks for the MX record of the external provider (bluewin). So I'd like to set up the email account info@'my__domain'.com and run it from my bluewin account. Is that possible? Does anyone know where to find the MX record of my bluewin account? Thanks!! I dont think this is possible, because Bluewin is not a very "high level" mail-service. More just an easy way to send and read mails.

But maybe our Mail-Expert @ChristianG could help you here?

The Bluewin mail service is really only built for @bluewin.ch and @bluemail.ch mail and not for "foreign" domains.

If you want to send from [info@'mydomain'.com](mailto:info@'mydomain'.com) you better are also able to receive mail at that address. That in turn means there needs to be a mailserver handling that domain and you should usually be able to use that to send your messages as well.

On the other hand if there currently is no mail infrastructure what-so-ever maybe the Mail Hosting S Website & Hosting: The right products for your SME Package might be an option for you.
