I spent hours on the Swisscom website attempting to order from 09:00 on Monday. The website timed out and crashed every time my 10 to 20-minute wait time reduced to zero. After patiently "waiting in line" a dozen times, I was finally able to order my phone in the mid afternoon. My "place" in the queue beginning at 09:00 was never respected. I've been a loyal Swisscom customer over the years, but feel extremely disrespected — year after year — being shut out of early ordering for new phones because of Swisscom's inability to treat its customer on a true first-come, first-served basis via their website. If the company cannot handle the web traffic on Day 1 of pre-orders, they should not pretent to have a functioning website that allows people to be treated on a first-come, first-served basis.
