I`ve bought a second box for my son`s bedroom, however the internet router is in the living room.

Can the box and TV connect without the internet router? And if it has to connect....how do people do it? A really really really really long ethernet cable?

I have a second tv and bought the tv box but it is far from the router. Before deciding for either of the two options I wanted to check which is the better option for HD TV.

I cannot tell you which system is the best as it depends on your line and home configuration.

Please note that the Powerline kit is working through your electrical network and the WLAN connection kit through radio waves (which can be less stable).

If I had to choose, I will try the Powerline first, but again, I cannot guarantee you the results.
