CHF300 for changing a Swisscom subscription

Hi.

With my company I had a Swisscom Business infinity subscription - payed by the company. As I left the company I was happy to learn that Swisscom could port my work number so I could keep it as my private number in the future.

I was told that Natel entry basic was fine for this and went to Swisscom webpage where all conditions are listed on the specific subscription. CHF33 per month and 60 days notice period. Everything perfect for me. I told my company to go ahead and sign me up.

Today I got my bill - THEY CHARGE CHF300 FOR CHANGING THE SUBSCRIPTION!!!

I went into their homepage one more time to find something written in small where the 300 CHF are mentioned. Nowhere!

This is cheating on people and I will not pay this extreme amount for something they did not inform me about in advance.

Anyone have had similar experiences???

Sorry to learn you have been mistakenly charged CHF 300.- following your contract taking over and subscription change.

It is an error from Swisscom, as downgrading fees are never charged in case of a transfer from the business segment to the residential one.

Therefore, we cancelled your first invoice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and remain at your disposal.

Dear Leyla.

Happy to hear that you admit to this mistake. Just odd that Customer Service yesterday when I called did not want to admit this.

I look forward to seeing that the invoice will be cancelled.
