Any chance that BBC Three will be available on the Swisscom CH channels now that The BBC have taken the channel to only online sources?

As everyone knows the SmartTV apps such as BBC iPlayer etc do not work in Switzerland due to geo-blocking. Basically we loose a channel.

I don’t think that this is legally possible, Swisscom won’t be allowed to distribute an online-only stream. (I’m not an expert though, maybe someone can confirm/disprove my statement.)

Thanks for the response. I don’t think Swisscom can distribute an online-only stream either, but it really sucks loosing a good channel. Beyond the control of Swisscom admittedly, as it’s a BBC decision.

Is my best solution - a paid VPN to access on BBC iPlayer?
