Hi everybody,
This is more a rant than anything else, but I can't imagine I am the only one in this situation.
I wanted to upgrade my internet connection to something quicker today (50Mbps) as I noticed we are no longer in the year 2003, but noticed I had to pay the one off 99chf fee for activating TV as this is now part of the Vivo bundle even though I do not own a TV and will not bother watching it.
Contacted Swisscom and they confirmed that's how things are now and there is nothing else for me to do then pay the fee to activate TV if I want faster internet.😤
It would be nice to see if we could get an option to either not activate TV or have a non-bundled internet version which is not capped at 20Mbps for all those people who do not watch TV and are not able to have fibre.
1.By offering a non-bundled version you have the possibility to offer a more competitive pricing model for connection speeds <100Mbps (vDSL) more closely to what liberty group's upc-cablecom offers.
2. You could ask the exact same price but without offering tv as I doubt anyone would really care anyhow.
Thanks for listening
