Khinner Hi. I already have a Natel prepaid Swisscom mobile number and just registered a free Bluewin account. At the beginning everything worked well, but as I leave Switzerland y can receive emails through this account but I'm no able to send any, the server gives the following error: RCPT TO: <......@.....com> Restricted relay - relaying not allowed. This is annoying as I already have started to give this new email address, and using webmail is form me not a solution. Any idea about how to solve this? I read on some blogs that this is a restriction Swiscom puts on costumers who have no other Swisscom Product, but normally you can take off this restriction. Also I have a SWISSCOM mobile number. I would be glad to have a solution for this ASAP. Kind regards.
suisse relaying is not permitted. have a look at that article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_mail_relay if you are using a swisscom mail account, make sure to either use the outgoing mail server of your provider or use the swisscom smtp server. you will find all configuration settings here: http://www.swisscom.ch/en/residential/help/loesung/server-settings-mobile.html
Khinner Hi. I just sent them through private message my email address and sme other personal details and they changed some configuration in my account so now I can send e-mails without problems from any part and through other internet providers. Regards.
Stuart Here is my problem: since changind ISP to Swisscom, my IPCam no longer sends emails to my google email account. Here are my IP Camera the mails are specified as: smtp.gmail.com
Stuart should I be using an accounts such as smtpauth.gmail.ch (Port 587) or smtpauth.bluewin.ch (Port 587) note I have no blue win mail account
POGO 1104 Do you have Swisscom/Bluewin Internet connection for the IP-cam? If yes, every Swisscom Internet connection Account have a Bluewin mail address! If yes, you have to use smtpauth.bluewin.ch/587 with Authentification POGO 1104
