Hello Mathias,
I figured it out yesterday afternoon - it turns out I needed to add superadmin account credentials even for permanent remote access. I was under the impression that this was necessary only for temporary access and I was using the same credentials as these used for local access.
We can therefore classify the support request as resolved.
