Forgotten router login

I want to gain access to my Swisscom motorola/netopia router but I have frgotten the login details. If I look on the customer service page I just get "There is no DSL-Modem available for this Swisscom Login.". If I reset to factory settings what would the login then be, and do you think I would risk losing my working tv and internet?

there is a reset button (small hole) behind der router.

you won't loose any recordings.

Yes I tried that and it wouldn't let me in. I found the online manual from the manufacturer and it points out that if the reset button is held too long even the defaults are wiped! I don't think I did but I guess its possible. I think the only cure may be a replacement unit.

uh really? thats new to me.. cause i managed to reset them multiple times before without any issues.

I'm just curious to see the manual you have found. Can you share the link or the file itself?

Normally when you have a Swisscom Access, the routers will made an automatic sincronisation with the Swisscom Servers to exchange the default data like: Wifi Key, SSID, etc...

So maybe tyour router had a hanging session... try the reset button.

If it works...try it again with the Customer Area.

INTERNET > HOMENETWORK & INTERNET and at the left side chose "Setting up a DSL Router"

There you can find all the Router Options like the username and password.

I'm actually travelling right now and don't remember how I found it. When I get back I will look through my history and see if I can get you a link. I do remember it took a lot of digging to locate it.
