  • POGO 1104 The Bose Lifestyle48, which is actually no longer brand new, doesn’t seem to have HDMI 🙁

    @Gruplenauld43 there are a few possibilities:

    • Universal remote only works via the Swisscom Remote, as the Swisscom box uses Bluetooth, not IR.
      Infrared universal remote controls are therefore out of the question.
      However, the SC remote control is relatively clever (can switch source, control volume via infrared on TV etc…).
      You would then have to pair the remote control with the TV
    • The stereo system should then switch on when the TV switches on. This can be done either automatically (don’t know the BOSE) or via a master-slave socket, which switches on the Bose as soon as the TV switches on
    • From the Sony TV you would have to use the optical output to the optical input of the BOSE.
      Lipsync problems may occur (shifting of sound and picture)

    It’s a bit of work, but should work.
