cinaro: if you get the vivo casa including the tv you will get a set top box from swisscom that will be connected to the swisscom internet router. therefore you will not need your cable tv anymore and can call the cable company (or your landlord if you are renting) to cancel cable tv and seal your socket (normally just a sticker or two bolts). they are not allowed to charge you for the technician to come to your home to seal the socket 🙂 so no reason not to get it done.
normally if you rent a flat the cable tv fee ( about 20 - 30 chf a month depending on your provider) is taken in directly via your monthly rent. if you get your cable tv socket sealed your landlord has to lower the rent by this amount.
