I have exactly the same problem after having Swisscom TV activated this morning. I checked all the channels and they play for exactly 8 seconds before stopping and a message popping up saying network connection lost.
Thanks for the tips above, i now suspect that the connection i have is preventing the multi cast:
Swisscom TV > Sonos (includes switch) > Apple Airport > Swisscom Router.
The reason for the connection to the Sonos is that i only have a single cable connection running into the living room.
I guess this evening I will be testing a couple of items:
- Connect cable directly to Swisscom TV rather than the sonos
- Switch the cable connection from the living room directly to the swisscom router rather than through the Apple Airport
