Interruption of the internet connection between the network and my internet-box 3

Regularly the connection between the network and my router is interrupted between 10:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Red LED on. Turning off the router’s power supply and turning it back on everything comes back to normal and works again for 1,2 or 3 days before a new cut. I reset my router on advice from the hotline to reload the firmware which was no longer up to date. Everything worked well for 2 days and last night it was a different story. my router lost connection with the network. I think this is a problem with the network provider. Please note, I am still connected by copper cable from the Swisscom central office, fiber is not yet installed in the building. Other neighbors have noticed the same problem where they are also Swisscom customers. If you have an idea or the same problem, I’m interested. Good day.

Did the Hotline check your line when you called?

Have your neighbors called the Hotline to report the same problem? This could move things forward.

My advice: go to bed earlier, around 10 p.m.! 😉

Stop joking, try uniting with your neighbors to lobby for a technician to be sent to check the line in the building.

Hello, thank you for the response. The technician came by and noticed the problem. Additional measures will be carried out (given the late time of the problem at home). It seems that a problem with equipment or the cable itself is the source of the problem. The case will be resolved in the coming days.
