APN: ipv6

It seems Swisscom APN (gprs.swisscom.ch) doesn’t support IPv6 at the moment. Are there any plans to add it? Any recent roadmap?

Would love to know that as well, but unfortunately, Swisscom did not yet announce official plans or a timeline to roll out IPv6 to the mobile network.

There is a quite long discussion about this in the german version of this forum, unfortunately also without any results.

The only way to get IPv6 connectivity at the moment, is to use a VPN/Tunnel solution. (i.E. Apples private relay which offers dual stack)

For the record (if Swisscom needs IPv6 use-cases): the company’s infrastructure is moving to IPv6 (as AWS introduces an extra charge for IPv4) so I can’t connect to the servers from the mobile.
