Swisscom box ip2000 not installing

Received the new box, connected as per instructions and my tv simply displays "just a moment " and that's it, just hangs on this message screen.

remote control,also does not seem to get recognized by the box.

and yes it is all plugged in and yes there are batteries that work in the remote control.

any ideas, help?

@Ecin Did you already try to reset the box? This can be done by poking the small hole on the back or bottom of the box with a paper clip.

@Ecin It is strange, you use the delivered HDMI cable to connect the Box to the TV? Normally you have to pair the remote control at the beginning of the installation process, it is shown, that you have to press the "ok" button for several times to pair the remote control of the box (not that of TV in case you wanted to use that one). Do you see this display on the screen?

Additionally, one possibility is to consider whether the TV Box was acquired from a classifieds website. If so, it is possible that the previous owner did not remove it from their account, which means that Swisscom may not recognize the box on your end.

Hello, no unfortunately it is still not working. I have of course check all the cables are correctly connected, have done a reset multiple times etc etc.

just hangs at "one moment please…" and that's it.

any further help much appreciated.

@Ecin Did you get the box directly from Swisscom? I'm asking because normally the IP2000 is no more delivered directly. So, if you bought it privately, please consider @Doremi's hint, it that case you should contact the Hotline 0800 800800, otherwise the box could also be defective.
