Les clients qui ont exclusivement une adresse e–mail Bluewin mais qui n’utilisent pas de raccordement Internet Swisscom, reçoivent dans certaines circonstances le message d’erreur “550 - Restricted relay - relaying not allowed” (Windows) ou bien l’envoi d’e-mails ne fonctionne pas et est identifié par un point d’exclamation dans la boîte d’envoi (Apple).

Dans ce cas, vous devez contacter Swisscom pour une identification complète au numéro gratuit 0800 800 800.

I called Swisscom 0800 055 055 for an explanation of the Restricted Relay function (see above from Swisscom manual email setup page), and how it might affect my ability to connect a surveillanve camera sending smtp alerts via my ISP (Swisscom) connection, but they were not able to help or explain!

Would appreeciate any explanations, because my camera emaiols are just not getting through.

Is “relaying” not allowed with Swisscom?

I use Apple OSX Yosemité with Mail

This error message doesn’t seem to be related to your camera, but your email address.
